Products, Features & Cost Breakdown

This solution requires only standard iOS native tools and the web version of Gmail:

Product / Feature	Provider	Estimated Cost
iPhone	Apple	Existing device hardware, cellular data / Wi-Fi
Safari (or Chrome / Brave)	Apple / Third-party	Free
Apple Shortcuts App	Apple	Free (Pre-installed iOS standard app)
Gmail Web Interface	Google	Free (Standard personal Google accounts)

While you can create standard Safari bookmarks pointing to https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2#settings/filters , building a dedicated workflow via Apple Shortcuts lets you customize icon graphics, assign memorable labels, and explicitly choose your preferred browser engine.

What You Can Achieve

With a single tap on your home screen, you can bypass the limited native Gmail mobile settings and jump directly into the full web-based Gmail Filter Management console.
Below is a live demonstration of opening the shortcut from an iPhone:

Step-by-Step Setup Guide

Step 1: Open the Apple Shortcuts App

Swipe down on your iPhone home screen to bring up Spotlight search, type Shortcuts , and open the Shortcuts app.

Tap the + (plus) icon in the top right corner to create a new shortcut.

Tap the bottom search bar (“Search actions”) and swipe up to expand available actions.

Step 2: Choose Your Target Browser Action

Option A: Open with Default iOS Browser (Safari)

In the search field, search for Open URL . Select the Open URL Safari action.

Option B: Open with Google Chrome or Brave

If you prefer Brave Browser, search for Brave and select Open Website .

Step 3: Configure Target Gmail URL

Tap the placeholder URL text ( apple.com or similar) inside the newly inserted action and paste the exact Gmail filter settings URL:

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/?ui=2#settings/filters

Step 4: Customize Name & Icon and Add to Home Screen

Tap the shortcut dropdown title at the top to select Rename and Choose Icon .

Tip: Keep the shortcut title concise (such as “Gmail Filters”) so the text doesn’t truncate with an ellipsis on your home screen.

Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen.

Select Add to Home Screen .

Verify the preview icon and title, then tap Add in the top right.

The custom icon appears on your home screen ready for one-tap operation.
